Volunteer & Travel: Kochi is a 2+ week travel experience where the participant volunteers in the city and travels during his/her free time and weekends. The major focus on this experience is on an intense volunteering experience.

Through this travel experience, we aim to provide a taste of the city's culture, an insight to the local traditions and lots of adventure while adding value to the society.

Experience Itinerary

Famously known as The Queen of Arabian Sea, Kochi or Cochin is a bustling commercial port city with a trading history that dates back to at least 600 years. The city is marked by influences of Arabs, Dutch, Phoenicians, Portuguese, Chinese and the British, along with many others. Being the financial, commercial and industrial capital of Kerala, Kochi has a lot to offer. From pubs, restaurants, shopping hubs and futuristic stores crowd Ernakulum, Jew Town and Fort Kochi to palaces, beaches, temples, heritage sites and much more. 

The journey starts at Kochi International Airport ,where you will be picked up by a coordinator. If you start from Bangalore, you can spend a night in Bangalore and move to Mysore the next day.

SIM Card will be covered in the experience fees. The first day will be majorly an introduction to the workplace followed by an orientation picnic with your Experience Captain covering safety guidelines, budgeting tips, other tricks and much more. 

The participants will be involved in meaningful volunteer work with various organisations present in the visited locations. The volunteer work timings will be usually from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The job descriptions available are teaching, healthcare, marketing, community service, animal care & women empowerment.

The experience takes place in Kochi, Kerala India, the Queen of Arabian Sea and the cultural, financial and commercial capital of Kerala.

We've kept only one location since the purpose of this experience is majorly on volunteering and experiencing a local culture. The travelling pace is slow and it's more about immersing oneself into the roots of one location.

​

The participants joining in for longer duration can add more locations and reach out to us for a personalized travel plan.
